Model Bus Update

BritBus Omnidekka
807 is seen here in Yorkshire Traction's distinctive low floor livery which was created not long before takeover by the Stagecoach

group.807 (registered YN 53 PAO) is seen on X19 service to Doncaster.

BritBus Omnidekka Before becoming Yorkshire Traction's 807, it was a demo bus, also used by Yorkshire Traction on services such as the 226 to Thurnscoe where this bus is currently heading.

EFE 20605 Dennis Dart/Plaxton Pointer
In the latest YTC livery. This was the first Tracky model to be produced by EFE. It is 427 (L51ONW). The bus was bought by Yorkshire Traction 1994 from South Yorkshire as they were taken over by West Riding.

EFE 18407 Leyland Tiger TS8

63 (HE9547) a Leyland Tiger TS8 which was bought in March 1940 and continued in service with Yorkshire Traction until 1952.

The bus comes complete with adverts of it's time including ones for "Cremona" toffee and on the other side "Barnsley Brewery's Oakwell Ales"
 
EFE 22702 Leyland Leopard / Alexander Y Type 'Type B'
236 (YHE236J) a Leyland Leopard in coach style. This bus entered service in June 1974 and continued with Yorkshire Traction with it's final days been used as a tow truck, a combination between a lorry and a bus.

As it is, the bus is used in service with Yorkshire Traction, with it's current destination, the X32 to Sheffield, a service which YTC still operate today

EFE 20901 Leyland PS1 / Windover
Again, this is a coach, 897 (CHE852) it is a Leyland Tger with a Windover body. It was bought in 1950 and continued in service for ten years until 1960.
EFE 24314 Leyland Tiger Cub (BET Style)
1167 (SHE155) is a Leyland Tiger Cub which was used with the Barnsley based company from August 1960 until 1971. The bus comes complete with adverts on both sides of the bus for "Barnsley Bitter" which is brewed only at Oakwell.

Here we see a TD1 in traditional Yorkshire Traction livery looks extremely impressive when applied to the Titan creating a must for enthusiasts of this fleet. Registered HE 4724, fleet number 282 is on route to Worsbro' Dale.
Fleet number 14 is show to the right. It is registered 1737HE on it's way to Torquay. It is a Leyland Tiger carrying Plaxton Paramount body.
Corgi C675/6 - MCW MetroBus

Seen on the left is MCW 701 on the X32 heading for Sheffield. This bus was shown in YTC's Fast Link (express service) livery.

The model would have been produced in the late 1980's.
